I mentioned a while back that I was selected as a potential winner for a Lacrosse Boot Company catologue. They made a post asking for hunting camp pics here and I posted a few just for fun. Well, the planets aligned in my favor and they picked me. They went on to select me as a finalist and print the pic in thier magazine. I am going to try and post it. For winning I get to pick out any pair of boots I want, as does Shane (Huntin Horseman), the other guy in the pic and my uncle Chris (Clattin) who took the pic. Too bad Shane is in there in his hillbilly brown camo and hunter orange getup cramping my swiss snow camo, lol :D. Pretty cool huh?
And apparently "When the world goes to crap and everyone runs to the hills I am going to have quite a following." Well, I coulda told you that ;).
If you cant read it the bottom says "If the grid ever goes down and the streets fill with a hysterical mob screaming about the sky falling, take comfort in the fact that you will have no part in that mess. Quite the opposite in fact, for everyone who thinks that world could use a little less whining and a whole lot more of the self sufficiency learned from going outside, we offer the recreational series. With the most features for the money its gained us a 100 year reputation for making boots with the built in technology to keep your feet, dry, warm and comfortable when you step away from the couch and into Ma Nature's world, which last time we all checked is where human kind is built to live."
I guess there were only 7 pictures in the magazine, and this one got a full page. It is at my home adress, so I have not seen it yet...
