Just wanted to let all you wire guys out there that you won't find a better all around wire line reel repair than Bell's Trolling Reel Service & Repair. Bill Bell recently had the plastic gear multiplier fabricated in metal for my Gold Cap. It is better now than when it came out of the factory. Cost was 50 bucks including new wire & he gave me a warranty that doesn't kick in until April 15. He also installed a locking sleeve in place of the clamp. All you have to do is buy a Fish On rod holder base ($8) and you are ready to go.
