I was wondering the samething. I am also considering going out tomorrow. I fished a canal last Saturday and it was getting slushy by the walls. Drove by the lake Tuesday and people were out but a lot closer in than they had been. IF I go tomorrow I will either fish a canal or out by the RAFT. To me the Raft seems better than the launch site. Last week I fished the RAFT, I went to the left and fished a hole about 75 yards from the opening of the marina and in 45 min caught about 10 fish many dinks three keepers , one really good size Bluegill. Also caught a mud puppy, FIrst time i had ever caught one and when i pulled it throught the hole it startled me. ANy ways let me know how you do.

Went out today 12 to 3 at fair haven access point, kept about 40 and saw some nice pike but didnt have any luck catching any. Water was really clear probably because of how shallow it was, 3 to 4 ft.
The ice only went out about 100 yards but their was enough to fish on.

You kept forty Great JOB !!!!!!
What was the average size and what did you use, I have had best luck with wax worms. Was ice good even for big guys.

***took some kids sledding today had to cross a small muddy creek. First foot went through the ice sunk half way up calf in mud, second foot went in sunk to the knee, pulled up first foot came up fine with out boot, lost balance had to step forward, foot with just sock on went trough ice into mud, however if i had to have a break through experience i would pick this instead out on the lake.:p :p :p
