Water and Launch report SCR

Water muddy on our side. Looks to be good over on the other counrty's side. Marine City, Alogonac city, and DNR ramp at Deckers, ramps are not in yet. A couple boats were launched out of Algonac city ramp and 8 out of Deckers. Did not see where they were fishing tho.

Fair Haven the water was spotty clean and dirty. You could see clean areas and dirty. Ramps not in yet.

Business must have picked up at Deckers since we were there this morning. Only about 4 trailers in the lot. I did notice a couple of boats through the fog and one them was running up and down the bank in front of the wall. He was by himself and pulling wire.

When I was at Fair Haven the fog was so bad I could barely see to the end of the rip-rap walls.

I fished at the Algonac Ramp this afternoon. Water was pretty murky. About 8 trailers in the lot when I got there at 3pm and at 5pm when I left, only 2. Most boats were coming in from the North channel side.

Nuttin, Nada thing. Washed alot of stuff though... :lol: Tried spoon, plugs, jigs, spawn, Gulp and a harness just for fun. Didn't hear of anyone getting anything anywhere... expect wearing warm clothes. The wind picked up when I left and glad I had my 'fat' pants on.:yikes:

PS: Flew from Flint to Cleveland today, and saw a few white caps on Erie from 15,000 feet. Didn't see the channel, too many clouds....

Launched at Deckers/DNR ramp about noon Sunday. Fog just lifting and the water was dirty. Went up as far as Middle channel with two other boats. Went thru the sni to Baltimore cut and had no luck.

At the LSCWA meeting last night one of the guys said that he drove by and the DNR staff was putting in two docks at Selfridge and was then going to put in two at Harley Ensign.
