Stocking a pond

[Pond in the pines]

I have 1 1/2 acre pond with blue gill,bass and some(few perch). Can I put in some crippie in the pond? If so how much?:fish2:

we hand stock a buddy's pond down here in ohio with both black and white crappie--most are soon to be trophy size and they seem to do just fine with the mix of both large and smallmouth bass,perch,gills and a few rock bass thrown in the mix--we also add a few predator saugeyes in the spring to keep the population from stunting and then fish them out before ice up--oh yeah i forgot to mention that he also has a few channel cats in there that are literally the size of your thigh-- i'm sure they do their share of population control as well :yikes: :yikes:
