I'm looking to make my fishing a little easier this year... no digging thru a soft side bag thru bags and bags of Senkos, Sweet Beavers, Chompers, Gulp! baits, etc... for the one color and length I'm looking for. I'm thinking several plano compartment boxes... but will this keep the baits as "fresh" as the ziplock bags they come in?

I use the Wraps for most of my soft plastics. But for the plastics that I use a lot and fast I some times pout them in boxes. But if they stay in there to long they start to break down.

I put my senkos which are still inside the bag into the plano trays. The bags fit right in side of them.

The last couple of years, I've been using 1 gallon size zip-locks. The bow of My boat has cargo netting on each side and hold a BUNCH of these :yikes: ! That way I keep differant styles seperate (in thier own bags) and really reduces digging around during the "hot bite". Hope this helps -Bob

I put tubes in boxes but that's it. Anything else I use is scented-Powerbait. GULP, YUM. The scented baits should be left in the priginal bag.

I've used the big plano boxes for soft lures for years with no problems. If you have a LOT of soft lures, I'd think that putting them in snack or sandwich-size ziplocks and then in gallon-size bags would work just as well for a lot less money. I've got so many of the plano boxes that I can't get all of them in the lockers in my boat. Bags would be easier to fit into lockers.
