$50,000 granted to rebuild bridge March 9, 2006

CADILLAC - The city of Cadillac will receive $50,000 from the National Park Service to replace a 15-year-old pedestrian bridge.
The Keith McKellop Walkway bridge is located on the east edge of Lake Cadillac and is used by walkers, joggers and Rollerbladers to cross the headwaters of the Clam River. The walkway runs the distance of Lakefront Park.
The city will match the grant to pay for construction, which is scheduled to begin later this year, said Precia Garland, assistant city manager.
