Here's an odd question. When I bought my boat, a 17' Lund (Similar to the pic below) I wasn't thinking about anyone else ever being in the boat so I didn'y pay much attention to the fact that there was no passenger side console/windshield. Well now I almost always have a fishing buddy tagging along. Does anyone know if Lund (or preferably an after market manufacturer) makes a matching (or close to matching) passenger side console? Or where I can at least go to or call to find out of its possible.
Thanks.

None I am aware of. I have a buddy who made a really nice custom console out of mahogany, set up small drawers as the supporting leg, installed a couple of small coolers in the top to act as coolers and glove box. Put a replacement windshield from the oem passenger console on it. very sweet, with a lot more storage than the oem version.

Cheaper to just get him a full face motorcycle helmet.

I bought my Tracker with a single console with the thought adding a second and a windshield. Dealer ordered it and I put it in. I got it at dealer cost. Retail at the time was $1500

I am quite sure Lund makes the side console; however, you would give up a lot of room in that 17' boat. I have a 17 Mr Pike with single console and have thought about this, but would not want to give up the room.

I looked into one for my lund - was approx. 1700 w/o installation - :yikes: , so I decided against it. I've been working on mocking one up out of cardboard. When done, I'm taking it to a place in Adrian (All Metals Incorporated) that said they would cut aluminum sheets to any size. They have a really nice website where you can select sizes and calculate how much it will cost. So far I'm under $150 for the materials. I'm debating whether to rivet the pieces together myself or have it welded. When done I plan on gluing matching (?) carpeting to it...
