Out from Blue Water Bait just past the crack. Probably only a few days left. Go get em. Ice is good but would not go out on offshore winds.

Sure you can. Just push that flat bottomed boat across all the slush and water on the ice until you get to the edge. Push the boat in and then get in yourself.

Right. That is as far as you will have to drag it. Then, float the rest of the way. I think that the hard part is getting the boat back out of the water and onto the ice.
I used to watch guys drag/push 14 to 16 foot aluminum boats with motor down the canals. They would launch them into the upper Detroit River and make the run over to the Sturgeon Hole.

i asked for that one didn't i:lol: ! i guess what i MEANT was how far out from shore does the ice go (and yes i figured out that it is going to the water!) 10 yards........ 100 yards?
