Today I was able to shirk from work so I decided it was a good day to try to do something about my wiring dilemma. :yikes: :dizzy:

I basically just cut away most of the mess just to get at a basic plan in this chore. After about 7 hours things started looking a little better. ;)

Originally I opted for a breaker panel. Due to the size I would need with the amount of circuits I was supplying I changed my mind and setteled for a fuse panel.

Not bad for day one. The front of the boat is complete and everthing still works. (thats a good thing)
Tomorrow I hope to run the wiring for the rear circuits.
I really hated my wiring dilemma

looks great!!! dont you feel thay much better getting "intimate" with your electrical system. now if anything acts up you will be on top of it in no time!
Thats a great looking job. Beats the heck out of those "One size fits all" harnesses some factories like to use.

if you want to prevent electrical failures this works !!. i work in the electrical field. we use di-electric grease when wiring outdoor connections. either contax or no-lox brand. made of thickened mineral oil.i rub a little on the blades of my male connectors and all splices. it will totally prevent corrosion and eliminate many wire connection problems. works great on solenoid and battery contacts and on your trailer plug. you can buy it at any electrical supply or maybe home depot for less than 5 bucks. it beats scraping and blowing on that pesky trailer plug. don't think i didn't see you doing that at the ramp.you looked pretty stupid.

We typically use a product that can be sprayed. It is called T-9. They sell it at West Marine or Boat US. Work's great!
