TAKE'EM TO COUNTRY SMOKEHOUSE IN IMLAY CITY!!!!!

No kidding, just got a batch back from a preserve shoot, unbelievable. They are moist with a great smoke flavor. Good with pepper cheese on a cracker, awesome in quesidillas (sp?), make a sandwich, or just pop in your mouth for a snack. I think its $5/bird and they have to be cleaned already. They just tag'em and rack'em in the smoker, so make sure that anything you don't want to eat is already removed.

Gregm, do you know if they marinate them in anything? I did a batch myself awhile back, marinated them in a combination of pineapple juice, teriyaki sauce, and some selected spices. Covered them with brown sugar & popped 'em in the smoker. They came out REALLY good....just ask Deputy. I traded him smoked pheasant for some bear meat....that was pretty tasty too.
BTW, you weren't at the Rooster Ranch this past weekend, were you?

Yes, they brine them in something, but I'm not sure exactly what.
