Just a question for all the spearchuckers out there. . . .
How many muskies do you see when you're pike spearing in Lake St. Clair in one season?
And yes I know that it's illegal to spear ski's. I'm more interested to know if they are as active as pike are during the winter.

I've seen quite a few in years past. Look like big submarines coming thru.

I have only seen a few in hole. Seen alot more dead tossed on the ice. If I could ever pin it on someone, I would be the first guy to call the DNR, makes you sick to see a big fish like that just going to waste.

I'm with you. No reason to kill a fish that provides excitement to countless thousands each year:rant:

Ive seen alot of them over the years.Dont let me catch someone spearing these beasts and just throwing them on the ice.I would be the first one on the cell phone.

why do they do that??are the muskies undersize and are mistaken for pike?
can't believe a dye hard spearer would just throw the fish on the ice
