Guessing today was the last time out for me. Hit alot of dink perch .....nothing over 6 " and about 14 bass. But the fat lady sang. Just as I walked up to the second rod the bobber took off. Thought maybe it was a decent perch but when I picked it up the line started peeling and the drag was screaming. Man what a nice sound for once !:D That little perch rod was doubled over hanging on for dear life. What a ball ! After about five minutes I finally got a pike to the hole. Flipped her out and adimired her for the fight. Was about 23" and fat. A real stocky critter. Turned her loose to fight another day.;) Was a great day to be on the ice.:) Figured it was gonna be the last dance with the upcoming weather forcast. Nice to finally meet you Stringer. Gonna break out the rods and head your way to fish the wall in 2 weeks. By then I'm guessing the ice will be down and possibly the steelies will be in.:D Got 2 weeks of down time coming and its use or lose'em. What should I do.:D

Yep Yep nice to finely meet you Joe been talking over the net for a while now. Joe had the bass hole of all bass holes, sometimes any jerk is better than no jerk. Jason and I ended the day with a bucket of fat gills lots of work for them swimmers. I may get out 1 or 2 tomes more before weekend when it goes to hell. Zoom Zoom time is just around the corner.

Seen 25 guys in the boat basin this afternoon...and yes they were pulling up fish, albeit alot of dinks....I did see some going in the buckets. There was even some dude on the lake side ice (all 100 yards of it) :dizzy:

Unfortantly I had the long rods and some pike lures with me today or I would have gave it a shot.:gaga:
