a shotgun brand called a GAZELLE? my brother in law bought it about 2 weeks ago, paid $500 + tax. 12 gauge semi-automatic 5 shot capacity. well, in the case of this gun we dubbed it the "SINGLE-SHOT AUTOMATIC". every time he would shoot at a rabbit, it would jam up.

hopefully the people that he bought it from (MAGNUM FORCE) will take care of him by allowing him to trade for a different brand, or better yet, refund his money so he can by a Remington, Mossberg or Winchester that he can count on.

i have never dealt with this gun shop in Monroe, so i can't say anything about them either way. anyone here ever dealt with or heard any reports about this shop? just curious. thanks....:fish:

could be the shells too, i had one box of shells for one of my pistols that would jam up every 6-7 shots or so. got through that box into the next box of the same brand and not a single jam.

thanks for the info guys.

we thought of the possibility of bad shells, so we used all 3 major brands. i was shooting Rem., his father-in-law was shooting Win. and his brother-in-law was shooting Fed. all makes had the same result...jambs after every shot. the gun wouldn't even let him manually eject the shells without shooting them.

he ended up taking the gun back for his $$$ and is in the process of deciding on a Rem. 1187 or a Beretta.

thanks again........:fish:

i have an 11-87 that i shoot winter trap league with. sometimes it won't eject shells for me. normally, the gun is oiled and it is colder than heck. that's the problem, but just a thought. otherwise, its a great gun.
