Perch Small But Tasty

Got out today for a few hours and caught alot of small Perch. Well after some pride kicking and a notch out of my finger from the knife, ended up with a very nice Perch dinner. Bite size one would say. Caught them by the marina close to 10 mile.

One thing that has never happened is I caught as many Spot Tails as Perch. Has anyone noticed this before? Did feel good to be out on the ice today.

Good Job, Tom, chasing those winter Blues away,, did you invest in a Lanky sharping system ???, if so you zipped throught them and a little more :yikes:
. I've found that the stainless steel glove, on the non knife hand, saves all them pokes, and slashes, when their big enought electric is the only way to go, oh yea I've cut thought Kevlar gloves, nfg, in my book, hopes this helps some out there, be safe, fish wise, we'er after them Walleyes~~~~><>...!:chillin:
