9.9 Evinrude

I have a 9.9 hp Evinrude, and the guy I bought it from told me you can have a different exhaust pipe put on it to convert it to a 15 hp motor. Was wondering if anyone has done this. And if so was the power increase very noticable?

Just the exhaust pipe... not true. Fuel delivery would need to change also. Simply changing the exhaust would lean out your 9.9 and cause a meltdown.
