Hey guys,
For you guys who are over in the Anchor Bay area alot I am looking for a bait shop which is called Walts Bait or something like that. I was talking with a guy who has a great ice spud and I was asking him about it and he said theres a guy who sells the same design as his over by Anchor bay and he thought the place was called Walts Bait? If anyone knows about this could you fire me the name of the store or number so i can give them a call. Thanks!

Hey pal,
Your talking about the days when men were men and walts, tips and ray's baitshops were more important than snowmobiles and 4 wheelers. Them stores are history. You may want to check with bluewater bait next to the public access site, they may be able to help you out. They are nice and honest people and are reasonable and reliable.

Walt's is a livebait supplier to bait shops. You will see a lot of signs at party stores and gas stations indicating that they sell Walts nightcrawlers.

Walts was a bait store and boat livery here on the north end of the bay for years and years. But that was years ago. Just like Bauers and Schrams...great histories, but LOOOOOONNG Gone :)

Do not think its any relation to Walts Crawlers, could be...but the Walts he was talking about has been gone atleast 15yrs. Jst like Rays & Tips.

Brian or Gary at Blue Water will set you up fine.
