Drove past a couple of lakes visible from portage road in portage and saw several brave souls on the ice there. Don't know how thick it was though.

Austin Lake, and West are covered but it looks rather slushy. I checked Long Lake today and there is a lot of open water. I have access to the North end of Long this year, and only this year, and of course there hasn't been any ice. Kinda annoying.

Went out to the portage state game area I don't know the name of the lake but the frist 15ft was open water.
Sugarloaf lake - was the best it had 3.5 - 4 and there was one person out on the lake.
Little Sugarloaf - was slushie and did not look good.
Wolf lake - was half open water.
Fish lake - I could not get out on there was about 10ft of weak ice.

I can't even get on my pond (15 miles southeast) to catch any of my pets. Delton is only a half hour north and saw people fishing all over Sunday.

Hey Lazy K - I'm curious, which lakes around Delton were they fishing?
