Since LSC ice fishing is about done, are there any ponds or lakes in the area that I could try? I can only think of driving west or northwest.
thanks

The lakes in North Central Oakland County are marginial at best. There are people going out on nearly every lake in the area, yet I would not go out on any water I was not familiar with.
Even though we have had a succession of nights below freezing, the days have been rather balmy with alot of sunshine. The winds yesterday and today are eating away at many weak spots. One more period of temps in the 40's and I think it will be done for the year.

Believe it or not, Stoney Creek has about 8" out in front of Eastwood Beach. Was out there yesterday for a Kid's fishing contest. Thay caught several pike that were keepers. All the panfish were way too small.
