7lb Whitefish Today!

The Whitefish and laker action continues to be great in lake Simcoe the past 3 weeks. The Whitefish have been averaging in the 4-5lb range and we iced our largest of the year so far today. ;D

The area's between Thorah and Georgina Island, off Jackson's Pt and now near Snake and Fox island shoals are producing well on Minnows, Meegs, #7 and #9 Jigg'n Raps and Williams have all accounted for a number of fish. Special care show be taken if travelling between Jackson's Pt and Fox Island as there is a ton of busted up ice making travel very rough and slow going in some places.
