harbor freight? camera?

was looking for tools on harbor freight site last night and they have an underwater system on sale for $99 and change. anybody recognize it or have info?

Ive never used one. But to me they look exactly like an atlantis.

was going to get one but a friend got me a vex f18 pro pack for 300.

My buddy got one from H.F. I have the Atlantis, and for the most part, they ae the same unit. I like the way the H.F. camera packs away into its carrying case, and at $99.00, seems to be a good deal. I have only had one small issue with my Atlantis, the housing for the camera leaked, and therefore fried the camera. It has since been fixed and works fine. I am sure the Aqua-Vu's are constructed better, but you also pay the higher price. Hope this sheds some light. Tight Lines

I purchased one at Christmas for my son. Was working fine for three days until the screen went blank. So I returned it to the store with no problems. But they were out of stock until who knows when. So we went to Bsp, picked one up. With no ice on LSC no chance to use it. The H.F. camera seemed to work fine when it was working good luck.

The leak was entirely my fault. I was bring the camera up and it hit on the underside of the ice. I gave it another tug and still hung up. I figured the harder I pull, the easier it should BREAK thru the ice. Well, I think the stress on the cable caused the factory seal to pull away from the housing, and created a leak. Treat it right and it should last you a long time. Tight Lines

If your lucky you'll get one the works, if not your gonna find yourself going back for a new one, I use to work there and seen alot come back cause the screen would go blank. if anyone still really want one I can still get a pretty good discount there just PM me. theres is one in GR
