I Accidently Bought A Fl-18 And Had No Ice To Use It On. Burt Lake Was On My List Of Places To Go And Fish For Walleyes And Perch. And It Had Ice! After Reading The Ms Forums From Burt Lake I Managed To Map Out An Area To Fish And Try Out My New Toy. That Lake Is Big! Thanks Again For All Your Help. As Usual The Big One Got Away

Although the thread on Burt has not been updated lately, I hope you enjoyed your fishing adventure on Burt. I personally have not been on the ice in two weeks, but I think that will change today.:) Indeed it is a massive lake with an abundant number of fish and various species, and one of those lakes that is just fun to fish, cause your never sure what you might catch. We are very lucky to have that resource just minutes from our homes, and there is never a day that goes by that I don't learn something new about that body of water. If you are in the area again, shoot me a p.m. and we'll see if we can't get something on the business end of your line. Tight Lines

I agree with your philosophy about species and never stop learning and having a fun lake to fish. I'm going to Fremont tonight with a gps. I t will be a blind fish but an adventure no doubt. I think my next trip to burt will be 3-11-06 for the last weekend of walleye and maybe some tasty perch.
