Metro and Venetian

Fished venetian this morning 7-9:30 four 8"ers. Went over to Metro in back boat basin and zip zilch notta. Should've stayed to at least catch a meal. Noticed 10-12 guys fishing in marsh at metro. Didnt have a chance to talk to any on them to see if they were doing any good. Ice was 3-4" in both places with murky water. Headed to TC for some walleye action this weekend on Long Lake. Ill fill everyone in upon my return. Best of luck to all and at this point i say bring on the warm rains and STEELHEAD!!!

Welcome to the site !!!! and thanks for the report. I just realized you've been here a year, what the heck have you been waiting for.

i got my account when another member notified me that this was a good site to buy and sell. then i started to keep up with the fishing and duck hunting here and there. for some reason when ever there is something to be caught, trapped or shot at, its what im doing. with everything being slow i started to watch the sight more and figured id throw in my two cents. ill be sure to send out some pics when i return from TC this weekend as well as my snow goose hunt the first week in march...

If I'm not mistaken that is the road that deadends across from metro boat launch
