Fished Heron Lake in northern Oakland County. At least 8" of good ice. A quad and a golf cart on the ice. Not sure there allowed on the ice---sign in parking lot says only electric moters allowed. Limited out on gills, but nothing much for size. Mostly around 7". Beat sitting home!! Was up to Fletchers(12-14" of ice) this weekend. Four of us fished all day Saturday and till 11:00 Sunday. Mother Nature got the best of us. Brutal out there. Brought home 20 gills and 17 perch. Not much to show for the efforts of 4 guys. Blue.
