Anyone ever fished this lake, It sounds good on paper but just wondering if anyone has any hands on experience on the lake. Thanks.
Didn't know there were so many "crooked lakes" in michigan. This one in independance township, oakland county.thanks again

Are you talking about the one in the pinckney rec area?
Ive only fished it in the summer. Tons of dink gills. Caught a few largemouths. Heard about some pike but never caught any.

According to the DNR report, they say great gill fishing with sizes averaging 7-9 inches, not many pike, but plentiful stunted bass. Lake is deep...very steep drops. Wouldn't know where to start? South bay of the lake for the gills???

I've seen a bunch by the boat launch in the summer. Seems to be the largest concentration I've seen.
