What's the nicest looking color combination of vanes that you've seen or used. Looking to fletch some Easton AXIS arrows and want something different and cool looking

I don't have any pics but my favorite that i use are with a stickon crest that fades from flourescent orange to white, using 2 flourescent vanes and 1 white. The orange on the crest is on the nock side, it works very well in snow and fall woods floor and looks cool.

For my recurve, I'm using arrow wraps that fades from red to white. Using two red bared feathers and one white feather.

I like Green and Black 2" blazers saturated with dark red blood.

There are only so many colors to choose from, it makes it hard to get overly creative.

I like using all yellow. Not real cool, but I like using all the same color, and like a fletching it's easy to find, and see blood on.

Hey Carp,

What's the advantage of using the blazers over a standard 4 inch vane?

I never used 4" vanes, but I switched from 4" feathers and got a little more speed and better BH control. Plus I like thier durability and the way they look.

This time of year i use a cool setup for the league i shoot. Black vanes(3) with black nocks on acc goldtip pro hunter black shafts. Got a few guys that get a kick outta shooting my nocks off. If you can't see it it's hard to hit it. lol.

Hey Hook,

That would be super cool. Obviously not good for hunting but may have to try that on a few practice arrows

I decided on something different, and they're kinda growing on me, one yellow, one red, and one green on carbons.

The coolest fletch job I've seen in a while was just last week. Some fella at the shop had the bohning signature wraps(white with the bohning logo), and two red with a black blazers. They looked saweet.

Half of my hunting arrows are fletched in green and white, while the other half is maize and blue. This is done deliberately to remind any Gophers, Badgers, or Fighting Illini that make there way up here just where the heck they are! ;)

I have Yellow and White on my recurve arrows and my next set of carbons will have yellow and white as well. Easy to see.

I go with an all white wrap and three white 4" feathers with a white nock. When you are shooting at an animal, the arrows seem to glow until they turn bright red upon impact. ;)
