Hubbard Lake

Has anyone fished Hubbard Lake in the last few days? How is the ice and the fishing? Thinking about making the long trip up this weekend but I don't want to bother if the fishing is no good.:chillin:

Just got back yesterday - 3 days on the ice (mostly the south end) and no fish. Did pick up one throw back on the west side north of the Hardwoods...tough fishing. Ice was close to a foot with an averge of 7 inches of packed snow on top.
