:fish: Hi all, just thought I would everyone know that the annual Marne American Legion Ice Fishing Tourney, will be held on February, 25 2006. Im not sure on enrollment cost, but its usually 10 bucks. Its always a good time out there, we usually sell dogs and drinks. After is weigh-in at the legion hall, along with 50/50 raffle and door prizes. Come on out and have some fun. Yeah, a little bit more info would be appreciated when you get it. Things like target species and a general time frame. I used to fish Cranberry a few years back and never had much luck, but I never tried through the ice and I'm up for giving it a shot.

I heard its a drunken beer fest. Not so much a fishing contest. That said, I also heard its a great time and that they do catch a fish once in a while.

Ditto what kcfishin said. I work in Marne and most of the guys I work with wither "fish" in the contest or walk around and BS with the people that do. They say that it's a blast, just don't forget a DD.
