Im waiting until the next weekend(March 4,5). There is supposed to be a big ice fishing tournament on Simcoe this weekend(February24,25). Good luck fishing.

I am pretty sure that it is for Lake Trout and Whitfish so hopefully Cooks will not be too bad. We always seem to do okay so we might just have to work a little harder this time.

Last year when superhunter and I went up we were there the weekend of the tourney. Once the tourney ended and the pressure was off, we limited out. Hopefully we catch some of that luck again.

Heading up to fish 24 and 25th out Kewick for perch using Fishing Simcoe Adventures. Time for the annual return trip. Where are you fiishing from?

JK. There will be four of out of Gilford two of us have Blaze orange buckets and the other two have bright blue buckets so if you see this combination of four close together thats us. We probably won't be over by Keswick but if for some reason you make it over to the Gilford side keep an eye out for us.

I was over there last weekend 2/18/06
Fishing the Northwest corner of Cooks, got into some monster perch 10 - 13" brought back 81 of those delicious little guys after 2 days.

Went to Simcoe with 3 buddies for the first time last weekend. Fun place, lots of nice perch. I highly advise bringing an ATV or snowmobile, that lake is huge.
