Snow Report for Houghton?

Hi everybody,
I know everybody is asking about ice reports, but I am wondering about snow? I have a weekend trip planned for Houghton Lk and was wondering how much snow there is on the ice? I had heard the lake got dumped on late last week and the potentail for more this past weekend. I have the opportunity to borrow a snow mobile and would like to know if it would be worth the hassle.
Going for gills, and of course any advice would be welcomed also!

Was able to get around last weekend on the Quad. Snowmobile would have been better. Was real windy/cold. Not sure if you're asking is there enough to run a snowmobile (yes, there is plenty) or is there too much (not at all).

Was mainly asking if there was too much. I am not a "machine" guy and don't really know much about them. But I am taking my dad up and walking thru 12" of snow is probably too much for him. I mentioned that I am borrowing the machine, I have to drive about an hour in the opposite direction to get it and just wanted to make sure it was going to be worth it. Sounds like it is going to be.
I appreciate the info...we'll be on the south end of the lake. SO if you see 3 guys wandering aimlessly on unfamiliar waters, stop and say HI.

Anyone know if they are driving full size pickups on the ice yet? How much ice and snow is there?

We fished around the s.e side of the lake. Yes they are driving trucks out. I have a full size w/ a cap and chose not to though. I had my bro drive his explorer out:lol: . There were quit a few vehicles in our area and lots of ice.
BTW...lots of snow on the ice and it has crusted over pretty good. Easy to get stuck if you get off the beaten path.
