Does anyone have an ice report for barry county that is upto date. There is a solid 2 inches on our pond I'm just wondering if it is safe to fish the lakes yet?

I ended up going out last night. the only place to have bait anywhere around was gilletts. there was 2-3 inches on algonquin we cought 6 crappie the largest was 12.0" 6 bluegill and an 18 1/2 inch bass. Man it feels good to be on the ice finally.

Some of the lakes down in Yankee Springs have good ice. We got out yesterday on our lake, had 6" of ice and a bunch of fish below us.
