No shortage of ice or,,,, IDIOTS. On the flip-side there was a shortage of fish and augers,, never seen so many people SPUDDING holes. Well at least I get to cross another one off my list.:rolleyes:

fished cranes cove pretty slow for me.
plenty of ice to fish large lake.

Plenty of ice Patch,, I went back Sun. morning and took my ATV on her first run,, god that sure beats walkin'. When you look down the hole at the bottom edge of the ice, you could actually see the new layers of rock hard, clear ice. Fished off the point, got one crappie and lost another slob.

I'll be out there tomorrow morning for a few hours before going to work and will give a report. There were a few cars in the parking lot this morning and a few shanties setup about 100 yards or so from the public access.
