You say you have limbsavers on it. Do you have any string leeches or other string silencers? Why no stabilizer?

What model and year will help. I see you got limb savers on it. but do you also have string leech's. If you cant get it queit enough yourself. Take it too Kent Arms in Grand Rapids. Ask for vince. He will be able to answer your questions. As well as help you.

Sorry Big, I guess I am not being to helpful. Without knowing your setup here's a couple guesses/suggestions. If you don't have string silencers try that. String leeches will not slow your string as much as some of the bigger rubber band or fleecy types. Also check your sights if you use them. I have one of those radius mounted sights that adjust vertical and found that the two nylon washered bolts have to be tightened a little more than you'd like or else i get a noticeable metallic sound when I shoot. Took a while to identify that. Also it could be just the bow. I had a mach 7 that was whisper quiet but a friend bought a pse last year that was terrible on sound and ugly on vibration. There are those smaller limbsavers that can help reduce noise and vibration on quiver mounts and sights as well.

Try asking the PSE people http://forums.pse-archery.com/

Try shooting a heavier arrow...you'll loose a little speed, but light arrows cause more vibration....vibration = noise, it's that simple. That will be the easiest and most direct way to quiet down your bow. Also, have the bow tuned and greased.....you might want to replace the string as well, to something with newer low stretch material. Those PSE Nova's are solid bows, but to be honest, they are not known for being quiet.

One thing you will find after shooting a compound for a while is that you will always think your bow is noisy. I have not talked to another compound owner that does not think that the bow they are shooting isn't noisy. I'd say barring anything loose and rattling, it's probably not going to get any quieter. My brother thinks my bow is quieter than his and I think his is quieter than mine. Everyone that hears my recurve says that it is soooooooo much quieter than their compounds.

Make sure everything is tight, try shooting the heaviest arrow you can, limbsavers are awesome, and in my experience rubber whiskers are quieter and more durable than string leeches.

Theres all sorts of stuff to buy to quiet it after you know all bolts are tight. The $15 S-Coil stabilizer will be the biggest help. leeches and limbsavers and all that. Try the Limbsaver cable guard dampners. I run the heavy one at the bow and the old style one at the end and it surprisingly makes a big difference. Does that nova have the metal cables? If so throw some cat whiskers on them so they dont slap. Or, most new bows with parallel limbs are super quiet.
