Anybody Have An Idea Of How Much Ice At North State Park. Got A Lightweight Permanent I Would Like To Take Out With Snowmobile But Unsure Of Ice. 11 Year Old Itching To Get Some Smelt And Perch,just Want It Safe . Thanks, Fish On

I fished out from the Legion Grounds this past weekend which is right next to the North State park and there was 5-6 inches of good hard black ice out in 96 feet of water, Some spots had a good 5-8 more inches of white Ice on top of the black ice so theres plenty out in that area. There was people driving quads and snowmobiles all over that area this last weekend, so your pretty much safe anywear out there! Late me know how you do! Tight Lines and good fishing!
