Hi folks. We had the good fortune to have Bob Izumi visit Simcoe Fishing Adventures over the past two days. Bob filmed a show on Lake Simcoe Perch, and our operation. It will be aired in Jan 07. We spent an enjoyable couple of days with Bob and the crew. He is an engaging knowlegable guy! Good sense of humour, and knows his stuff. He was recognized by some of the other fisherman, and is a class act. One of our guests had his 10 year old out for the day as it was his birthday. This little guy almost died when he saw Bob, I am sure he'll remember this birthday as Bob gave him an autographed picture and spent some time chatting with him. He and Whitey had some fun fishing. Nice to see first hand that guys like Bob who we in the fishing world see as so "famous" are pretty down to earth and likeable. It was an enjoyable experience. i enjoy that guy's show.... seems like he really enjoys the sport and doesn't get overly wrapped up in the business (sure he does some, but thats the nature of the beast, just not overdone).

I saw a show with him fishing Simcoe in the fall, it was pretty good. Glad to hear it turned out ok,, for a minute there I thought you were gonna end your post with something like this,,, ",,, all in all was a good trip, except for 3 individuals that tragicly took their own lives after enduring Mr Izumis' laughing for 6 hours"
