Raft 2/14

Fished The Raft yesterday (2/14) afternoon. Very slow. Only managed 2 perch worth keeping and 2 pumpkinseeds.... released 5 dink perch and a few small rock bass. Water visibility is only 1.5 feet at best. Put the aqua view down and could see anything.... Maybe a dozen other guys out there and about the same at the Fair Haven launch. Same story with everyone I talked too... Slow or nothing. It was great to be out on the ice again though. Oh yeah, and some you-know-what threw 4 mudpuppies on the ice behind Bouvier Bay Marina… That’s ridiculous....:mad:

If you didn't already know, mud puppies are protected. It's a fine if you don't put them back in.

I think he was pointing out that someone else left four mudpuppies on the ice. Unless I am reading it wrong?

Can't tell me Chuck1 was the only hardy soul out there today. Come on fella's give it up. ;) What was the thickness of the ice and how'd you do today ?Looking for info for tomorrow. Gotta put a game plan together.;)
