Sloooooowwwwww...

Fished from 730 till 1030.....3 dinks on beads and 2 hits on minnows that I missed. Spent over an hour in 4 1/2 FOW and never seen a perch go through...Visability was about 5' or so. The way everyone was moving around, I don't think they were doing any better...

Ice was 4" on the old stuff, 2 1/2" on the new stuff further out..

Here's the chessy pic of the day...

These guys were crossing the line...Not that you can see it, but that is open water off the point. They turned around at least!!!

Hopefully the pm will be better.....

May have been a slow day. But you were on the pond. Last week while stopping at SANG everyday there was so much open water it was depressing.:dizzy: So I make the drive by on Monday, There is ice all the way out.:) I hope this rain they are forecasting is light or non existent. Mid winter break is here and would like to fish the lake.

Hit all the haunts down the coast this afternoon down to millers.... Only ice I found was at metro in the basin and off the boat launch (blk creek). Tried to get on the lake side, but no go. 1 guy was fishing by blossom heath, but I have no clue how he got out there..

Fished the back basin for some dinks...couple guys had some fish, but I'm not going to clean 6"ers!!!

Leaving for FLA and SC on friday....so by the law of averages, the fishing should be rocking the next 2 weeks!!!:gaga:
