I was thinking of buying a Browining Mico Midas Bow for my 16 year old daughter. She will never hunt (not that she is against it) but she enjoys shooting archery with her Mom and I.
The Mico Midas looks like a reasonably price starter bow. Does anybody have one and is it decent bow?
I have found one for $115.00 to my door with all the bells and whisles on it, sight, wrist strap, peep, etc. Does that sound like a reasonable price
Thanks,

Both my kids are outfitted with the Micro Midas, what a great adjustable little bow for kids 10 inches of adjustable draw length. Different limbs for higher or lower poundage are available for a reasonable price. My son has shot his hard for about a year and a half now. The adjustments are easy to make and tuning was not a problem.
The price you are looking at sounds great. You would probably want it with the 30-40# limbs for a 16yr old girl.
Have more info if you need it.

As stated the draw length and weight adjustments are great for kids. At 16 she may be able to pull 40 pounds to start. I purchased a Micro-Midas (30-40 pound draw) for my 12 year old daughter last year. She took a doe with it on October 1st! My 15 year old son is shooting a Micro-Eclipse. With the draw weight and length adjustments he will be in this bow for years!
In any case, I think Browning makes some of the finest youth models on the market. That coming from the mouth (or finger tips) of a loyal Darton owner, and you know I must be impressed!

My son has used a micro midas for 3 years. He has shot 3 does with it over these years. Hopefully he will get a shot at a buck one of these days. He still informs me on how he has never missed a deer with a bow. I keep telling him that his day is coming if he hunts long enough. But I'm very proud that he has never missed. :)

You have convinced me.....
The cheque will go into the mail tomorrow and my daughter will be the owner of a Micro Midas.
Thanks for your advice. I value it.
