new ice reoprt- monday

[double trouble]

had a buddy check metro, day sail ,venitian, boat basin , south river , candles, and compeau. only place of fishable ice was the front boat basin at metro and the venitian ,but the back entry way is slushy. the ice has blown out at candles and compeau. did anyone check conger bay ? its about spawning time?

Tried Conger Bay for about one hour today. Ice was only 2 1/2 inches thick which kept me close to shore. Only ventured out 100 yards. Water was fairly clear in 2 feet of water. Caught a couple of dinks and left because I didn't want to venture out farther with that little of ice. Some open water in front of canals ... be carefull. :)
