Raft Report

Stopped at Bluewater Bait and heard that ice in front of Buds was 2-3 inches with about 2-3 foot clarity. Decided to go to the Raft for better ice and found about 2-3 inches in the entire cove (Bouvier Bay). The water is like chocolate milk with about 5 inches clarity. Caught only 5 dinks and called it a day. Be careful walking down the dirt ramp at the Raft. There is a board marking where someone went through near the right side already. Be careful out there!

Hit the Raft with my son, Jordan, and a good friend. Fished from 8 - 10 this morning. Combined we caught about 60 fish, only 1 over 6" and that was a 9" crappie.
Ice was a shakey 1-1/2" - 3-1/2".
Don't know if mother nature will give us another chance on the ice or not. Got my fingers crossed.
