Went over to Metro today to check it out. Nobody on the ice except 1 oldtimer in the canal by the launch. I watched him with the binocs for a couple of minutes and he was pulling up fish. They just didn't look to big. I also walked out onto the docks cause there was several people fishing there. Looked like mostly dinks, but on guy had about 10 or 12 decent sized perch. I mean decent as in I haven't seen a perch in a long time so they might have been small but I'm desperate.:D :fish:

I catch lots of perch. only problem is their eyes are too close to their tails. The fillets come out so thin you can read through them.

I like that rod by the way. Caught a dozen dinks yesterday when most of the guys at Fair Haven never even saw a fish. Metro soon.
