on the ice today from 4-5 i caught 75-100 perch and went home with 2 one 11 and one 8. ice was very sketchy 1 1/2 to 2 all solid though need some ice on the anchor bay most canals should be walkable by sunday being that i was on one with current in it with no existing ice lots of large alwifes too

there were tons of Shad in Fairhaven last year. You could see them easily thru the clear ice. And the perch were often nonexistant for a while as the 300-500 shad schools swam thru.
