Bannana dyke ice report

[Can't Touch This]

took the long ride out to the dyke this afternoon to check on the ice. Even before i saw the ice i said to myself there has to be at leAst one inch covering the whole dyke for us to get out this year, i was disappointed to find all open water, with skim ice in the corners. looks like no dyke jumbos this year:sad: , also vistied south gib road, that is all skim ice and might be good to go in a week.

I'll be out there this weekend saturday and sunday to fish for perch in the gib bay and other bays as well as the canals close by there and the boat clubs and maybe jig a little as well and I'll will let you know if it gets any thicker.:dizzy:

i wouldn't walk across a mud hole that was only an inch thick!
the last day of goose season that place was wide open!!!
i don't think we'll fish the dyke on ice this year!

if someone has a 4x4 to launch the boat with, we can get in there & relieve the jumbo's of thier duty!!!!

thats me, a bucket of sand and off to the lanch ramp with the new 4x4 to drop the boat in. i take the spud with me to brake the ice at the ramp if any and off to the dyke to get thoughs perchys:evil: see you all there tis weekend:corkysm55
