Where to find Coyote around Oakland County

I am looking to bag a Coyote for a full body mount. I was wondering if anyone knows of a huntable population around Oakland county. I don't want to invade anyone's honey hole, I just need one. I am entering a Taxidermy competition and want to do a winter scene, I have the snowshoe, just need the 'yote! If I am not successful fairly soon I would like to buy a nice specimen. I am located in Waterford and will pick the dog up if you are reasonably close. It would not need to be skinned, in fact I would prefer it that way. Where are you at? I am a part time taxidermist in Waterford (Pontiac Airport).

If you haven't tried www.taxidermy.net . Do so, they have a "for sale" section. You can get most of what you may want, at industry prices, in the time it takes the shipping companies to work.

Good luck in Grand Rapids. I don't think I will make it this year (didn't generate enough taxidermy profits to pay for the trip).

Also, the MTA is having their Winter meeting Sunday (1/13) in Mason. They have informal competitions at most of the meetings. I plan on taking a Bufflehead that I am pleased with to the meeting. Let me know if you are interested in going.
