For those that have not gotten their 'Quality Whitetails' in the mail yet - I would like to point your attention to two VERY GOOD articles - one by Bryan *BSK* Kinkel, (Whom I still communicate with here in Nashville) and our own NJeff Sturgis - both about small property management and habitat -

Good job guys !

Appreciate it Ferg..Loved BSK's article myself, someday I'm hoping to get an article out as good as his are! He had an article several years ago about scraping activity on I believe his 500 acre property and I've always considered that article to be one of my all-time favorites for any publication. It is amazing at how much work goes into the article...a lot more than just writing. In Quality Whitetails the research editor(s) are incredibly tough..they will not print something if they can not recommend it to their members with a high degree of accuracy and research based material...they just won't do it.

I received mine but I have not had time to read the articles. I looked over the contents and it looks like a good one. I'm just waiting until I can read it without be interrupted. I really hate that. :)

Just got my QW today.... and it just keeps getting bigger and better every issue.
Kudos to both North Jeff and BSK for informative, real world answers to problems all landowners run into, in the Northern climes. WAY2GO:D

Still waiting for mine. :(

Is there a better magazine than "Quality Whitetails"? I certainly don't think there is.

Nice article Jeff! Your explanation of the photo showing the narrow plot leading into the larger one and the difference between the growth of the left side as opposed to the right side was simple, concise, and easily understood and that's something that isn't always found in an explanation of why there is a difference in growth.

Great work Jeff, and you too, BSK.

This magazine just gets better and better. Now six issues per year.

Super feeling to see it show up in the mailbox.

I'm with you FL. I've been a member since 1995 and am just amazed at how great this magazine, and organization, has become.

Good Job Jeff and BSK, and your right Brad, the magazine just improved another notch this issue. Some might not readily recognize the improvement but look again.

NJ and BSK outstanding articles this issue and I also enjoyed Leon2's feature in the "Fire Pot" at the back of the mag.

How 'bout them Yankees?

I hope to Ed. Kind of a "long drive" from my place.

Guess if I run into an older gentleman with bibs and a "funny" accent, it might be you?

The other day I rebroke my rib. Yes, lots of pain. Anyway, when I went to the emergency room, I had my Whitetails magazine in hand. I made doubly sure I didn't leave it there. I'm still not done reading it. There are some very good articles in there I have to read and highlight yet.

Righto! Three MSF members having articles published in a single issue of QW!

I think QDMA ought to send Leon a brand new "Carolina Kettle".

Ouch! Good luck with the rib. That's gotta hurt.
