carbon barrel on rifles

does anyone have any experience with carbon barreled rifles. i'm looking to get one but would like any comments anyone has on them before i fork the money out.thanks ahead of time

hi...........i am a gun salesman and i have been looking at carbon rifles for a long time......i have shot them and tho i don't know the make you are talking about i find them no more accurate than a good quality regular rifle barrell.....they are suppose to be more accurate at long range howerver i haven't had the chance to check this out......what i would suggest is to check out christenson arms and thompson center and see what they have to say.....we did have one person buy one and he brought it back and said he couldn't get it to group ....i took it out and shot it and it wouldn't group and it had a savforski on it so i sent it back to the company....don't know what happened with it .......i guess i would find somebody who has one and shoot it before i would buy one.....sorry i rambled.....
