Got ice?im starting too

hey it looks like the weather is starting to turn for the betterr. Gun lake got half inch last night..............lets hear what u guys got? and if youve been on it.........:D

I've been fishing Oakland county since Dec.8th and only have had 2
days when it was unsafe.
We've had at the most 7 inches this year and is now back to 5 inches.

This was the earliest I have ever been on the ice and looks like
it may be the longest season of my life for this area.

They say last ice is the best,well it's been last ice for 6 weeks now
and it's been pretty darn good IMO!
Never had to break out the power auger or the heater yet
and keep running out of waxworms.

This is the earliest winter I have ever been on ice.The last weekend of
November,Here in Oakland co. Headed out to Union lake this Saturday
If the ice is good I'll be out there all day on Channel 0-7.:)

Got on the south end of Gull yesterday, 4" every where I was. There wasn't much for fish, but it was good to try out the new shanty.

Sat sun we are suppose 2 get rain and be above 40. other then that we got ice. i have been fishin since sunday. caught 36 crappie and 5 gills last night. goin out after school today also.
