Have a son that is hot to do some ice fishing this weekend. Any one have some solid info on how far north you might have to go to find fishable ice?
He lives in the Kalamazoo area so probably would really like to fish the NW part of the state if possible. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Duane.

You might want to post this in the ice fishing forum. You'll probably get a better response.
Cadillac has ice on both Lake Cadillac and Mitchell, but both are fished heavily and not too many good reports are coming out of there. Houghton is just a bit farther, and that has a lot of ice.

If he gets up there I'll post what he did. Thanks for the help.
