Me and a buddy might fish it this fri. would like to know if its like higgins lake smelt fish where the people are, and also hows the lake trout and other trout fishing in this lake, usually catch a few smelt for the tip-ups and watch them while still fishing for smelt. any info would appreciate...

ive never fished higgins but green is pretty straight forward for smelt go where the people are. you can try doing a seach for green lake and quite a few threads will come up to help you.

There have been a few guys getting out infront of the state launch. Action has been spotty. The lake has ALOT of open water.
