First Fish Of The Year!!

Ducked out of work early yesterday and got a 26" and 34" northern. One in the freezer and one in the stomach. It was a great time. Got the smaller one with spear and the bigger on a tip up. Saw a few small pike in the hole and a ton of gills but didn't have the small rod and wax worms. Gotta love the winter!

Holzy, what lake were you on and what were the ice conditions?

Wixom lake.....anywhere from 6 to 8 inches but that was several days ago. Don't know what it looks like now.
